A YOUNG farmers group is to run a Mascots Race for charity dressed as a carrier bag full of local produce.
Jack Henry, a junior member of Catterick Young Farmers is to run in the Mascot Gold Cup which is being held at Wetherby Racecourse.
The club’s mascot has the name Jack of all trades and it will attempt to run the race which includes six jumps and they aim to raise at least £200.
The event, which has the theme Be keen go green and support your local market, is being held in aid of the Sue Ryder Care Charity on Sunday, April 26.
