YOUNGSTERS made a unique gift for Easter as they created perfume made from wild flowers for mothers as part of a play scheme.
The Hambleton and Richmondshire Play Ranger project worked with the children at Sessay, near to Thirsk, over the Easter holidays to make the fragrances.
The youngsters, aged between five and 11-years, used local plants to create smell.
Nicole Graham, a Play Ranger, said: "With names like River Stream and Oh Natural it might not make it on to shop shelves but the children had a great time collecting flowers and berries to give it a unique fragrance."
The Play Ranger project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and it aims to take play out into the more rural areas.
Recently the Hambleton and Richmondshire scheme has helped youngsters make dens and mud pies plus enjoy egg rolling.
