ROCK star Andy Summers is heading north to reveal another of his talents - photography.
And visitors to Nunnington Hall, near Helmsley will be the first people in the UK to view a major new exhibition of his work.
The guitarist with the Police, Andy Summers is rarely without a camera and has recorded the journeys, people and places he has encountered around the world.
His latest photographic project, the book Desirer Walks the Streets, is released this spring and covers a wide geographical area from the Alto Plano of Bolivia to the alleys of the Golden Gai in Tokyo.
The exhibition at Nunnington Hall will feature 40 works from the book being exhibited for the first time in the UK. It opens at Nunnington on April 30 and will run until June 7.
And Andy Summers himself will be making a public appearance at the Hall on April 29 at 3pm when he will be signing copies of Desirer Walks The Streets at a book signing event. Copies will be on sale at £40. This event is expected to last about an hour.
