A NATIONAL project to celebrate the life of William Shakespeare has used the work of a designer from the region to bring it to life.
Phil Ogden, from Thornton-le-Moor, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, has created the work for The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. He designed a multimedia display featuring key moments from the Bard’s life for an exhibition in Stratford.
Mr Ogden said: “It is very exciting to be involved in such a project and I feel quite honoured to be involved.
“There is a 3D skyline in a room and a 3D model of the Globe theatre and a large screen.
“Around 25 people at a time are allowed into the room, one of several areas in the exhibition, to see a short film detailing the Bard’s history and life.”
The exhibition runs until September
