FIRE fighters and police were called to a serious blaze in Darlington last night.
A large quantity of timber window and door frames was set alight on Whessoe Road at 8.30pm.
Two fire crews from Darlington were sent to the scene and police attended to help direct traffic, as thick smoke was blowing across the road.
The fire was extinguished by 9pm.
