A DRIVER was arrested after a car crashed off a road into trees today.
Two passengers in the car, an Audi 80, were injured in the incident, on Newport Bridge approach road, Middlesbrough, at 9.37am.
One, a 37-year-old man from Northumberland, suffered a broken wrist. The second, a 22-year-old local man, sustained a broken shoulder.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Orkney in Scotland, suffered cuts and bruises, and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 01642-301552.
