Catterick Young Farmers are doing the Gold Cup Mascot Race 2009 for Sue Ryder Care Charity on Sunday 26th April at Wetherby Racecourse.

The theme this year is Be Keen, Go Green and Support your Local Market.

Catterick Young Farmers new junior member Jack Henry has volunteered to run the race, which includes jumping six jumps (or falling over them)!

"Jack of all Trades" is the mascot name. Jack will be running as a reusable carrier bag full of local market produce.

Catterick Young Farmers are collecting sponsors for the race to support Sue Ryder Care, which is a Charity that support People and Families with long term or end of life illnesses including Brain Injuries, Parkinsons Disease, Cancer, Stroke, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntingtons Disease, Dementia and Multiple Sclerosis.
