Environmental themes emerge at the South Park on April 19th from 12.00pm to 4.00pm. Children can show off their recycled fashion in a show from 1.00pm to 3.30pm. Stalls and representatives will range from Durham Wildlife Trust to Farmers Market producers.

Birds of prey, plants and local produce, renewable energy, and alternative therapies, composting and climate change will hold sway to a day filled with excitement. For those interested in active pursuits, a climbing wall is available. Intended as a celebration of the local countryside, fun is on hand for the whole family.

On Wednesday 15th and 17th April there are fun sessions for children, who should be with an adult, at the education centre. For this the cost is £2.00. Further details can be obtained from Phil or Debbie on 01325 383099
