Four local childminders completed a first aid course last weekend. (4th and 5th April)
Laura Wratten from Catterick, Belinda Briggs from Topcliffe, Sharon Atkinson from Reeth and Laura Stephenson from Ravensworth underwent a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Course at Catterick.
The hands on course included CPR, Bandaging, Recovery Position, Pretend Situations and lots more.
Childminders need to have a valid First Aid Certificate to be able to Childmind and to comply with Ofsted Regulations.
All four enjoyed the course and are hoping to keep up to date with yearly refresher courses.
