A NORTH Yorkshire cheese-maker is celebrating another marketing coup.
Thirsk-based Shepherd’s Purse are now supplying top eatery Roast, in London’s Borough Market.
The company has secured a contract to supply the restaurant with its traditional English-style, award-winning Byland Blue cheese.
It was selected for the cheese board by head cook Lawrence Keogh, a regular on TV food shows Masterchef and Saturday Kitchen and formerly of the Ritz.
Shepherd’s Purse chief executive Judy Bell said: "We are absolutely delighted to introduce one of our blue cheeses to London diners at Roast. It is a fantastic ambassador for British food."
