A 49-YEAR-OLD man is continuing to help police with their enquiries after a woman was found dead in her flat.
Officers were called to the property on Clairville Road, Middlesbrough, shortly after 5pm yesterday.
A postmortem is expected to take place later today.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "A 49-year-old man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries."
