A TEENAGE girl has been robbed at knife-point as she walked along a cycle lane.

The 16-year-old was approached by three men who held a knife to her neck and stole her black Sony Ericsson Walkman mobile phone.

The incident happened at around 10.10pm on Saturday, March 28 as she walked alone along the cycle lane which runs from the end of Tollesby Lane, Middlesbrough leading to the Marton Manor estate, via the underpass under the A174 Parkway.

The suspects are described as white, 16-20 years old, wearing dark coloured tracksuits with their hoods up, trainers and black scarves worn over their faces. Two of the suspects were around 5ft 7ins and the other was slightly smaller at 5ft 5ins.

It is believed that the suspects ran off towards Marton Manor through the underpass.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Sarah Pears of Middlesbrough CID on 01642-303126.
