A FIVE a-side football tournament, which had been due to take part in Northallerton later this month, has been postponed.
Young footballers are now being urged to confirm their entry for its new date - May 31.
As part of a series of actions to reduce bad behaviour in the town, Northallerton police is inviting 11 to 17 year olds to take part.
Teams of six can enter in two age groups – 11 to 13 years olds and 14 to 17 year olds.
Mixed girls and boys teams are welcome in the younger age bracket.
The event will now take place at the Applegarth Park on Sunday, May 31, from 2pm to 6pm.
To enter a teamm, collect a form from Allertonshire School (west reception) or Northallerton College reception.
