Middleton U11A's v Stokesley FC Sunday 14 December The final game before the xmas break turned out to be Middleton's best result of the season. From the kick off Middleton pressed hard winning all the ball in midfield and sending Danny and Saafi through on some blistering runs. We were rewarded late in the first half with 2 goals in quick succession by Danny Crane and Josh Musgrave then had a brilliant drive saved off the post which had seemed to be a certain goal. The second half started as the first half had finished with sustained pressure on the Stokesley defence which saw a third goal from Danny Crane followed by a fourth from Saafi Rahman. At this point Stokesley rallied and started to play some good balls down the right wing testing Connor Pearce in goal on a number of occasions. However order was soon restored when Danny scored his fourth of the game and Alistair Oliver scored his first of the season to give Middleton a 6-0 lead with 10 Min's to go. To their credit Stokesley kept pressing and were rewarded with 5 Min's to go with a well worked goal that denied Middleton their first clean sheet of the season. Middleton Rangers U11B Rangers started off well with the leading goal from good possession play which caused Lewis MacDonald to play the ball across the box for a well struck left footed shot from Jak Williams however things took a quick turnaround as Whiteleas fought back and equalised with Min's to go until half time with Rangers creating the most chances in the first half. 2nd half began and Rangers worked hard but Whiteleas held out with a few strong challenges and created 2 more goals and an outstanding save from Andy MacNab to prevent a further goal but Whiteleas continued with a 4th goal to end the game 4-1.

Middleton Rangers Under 12s V Northallerton Juniors Under 12s Rangers were forced to start the game with no regular goalkeeper and only 10 men due to a shortage of available players, with several lads being forced to play out of position as a consequence. Despite this, all the boys were outstanding and cruised to a comfortable 6 - 1 victory with fantastic performances all round. Performances of particular note were Danny Pippen who scored 4 goals and Will Hughes who got the other 2, makeshift left back and man of the match Mitchell Armin, and volunteer goalkeeper Liam Pollock who saved everything Northallerton could throw at him.

Middleton Rangers U15's 9 V Leven AFC "A" 1 Rangers put in a great performance to overwhelm Leven, In a tough physical game. However, Middleton's superior passing game got them the result they deserved. Mike Noble put Rangers 1-0 up after two minutes, stabbing the ball home at close range. CJ Abbott then unleashed a 25 yard thunderbolt to put Middleton 2-0 up. Liam Gent fired in a quick brace of goals, with Leven replying in between for a score of 4-1. Rangers Ryan Gayles, rounded of the first half by slotting home from a goalmouth scramble, for 5-1 scoreline. The second half saw Middleton up their game, with some delightful passing and movement on show. CJ Abbott completed his hat trick with a couple of fiercely struck long range goals, closely followed by Liam Gent securing his hat trick. Aaron Silliker also added his name to the goal scoring list with a fantastic long range shot low into Levens net, to complete a comprehensive 9-1 victory for an in form Middleton side.

Middleton Rangers U9's Travelled to Hartlepool Pools Youth on Sunday. Rangers went a goal down midway through the first half, which was against the run of play, as Rangers were in control of this game from the start. Their passing and forward play was a joy to watch, with numerous shots on goal. Second half saw Rangers in control again with some excellent passing, which resulted in Lucas Waller equalising. The score line did not reflect the result, 2 points dropped on another excellent performance. MoM George Robinson.

Middleton Rangers U14B 9 Coulby Newham U14B 6 Middleton made hay going down the left wing early on in the first half against an understrength Coulby Newham but were frustrated by indifferent finishing before stunning long range efforts from Tom Pilkington and Luke Allenby set the ball rolling. At 8-3 a win looked a formality but complacency let Coulby back into the game in the last 20 minutes. Pilkington took up a rearguard position to save those memMiddleton Rangers U9's played away at Fishburn Boys in the quarter final of the Challenge Cup. The game started of brightly with Middleton making most of the running. The deadlock was broken near the end of the first half with Leo King firing a low first time shot, and his first of the season. The second half got under way with Middleton attacking the Fishburn goal from off, Lucas got the second with a near post header, substitute Josh Mckendrick volleyed the third for his first goal for the Team, James Wallis bagged the fourth. Middleton Rangers U10s sponsored by Brindle Construction played hosts to Stockton Town and immediately went on the attack and came close to scoring with good efforts from Tom Snowden and Jack Cooper. Middleton continued to pressure the Stockton goal and were rewarded with the first goal which was a fantastic long range strike from Rhys King. The game was now starting to open up with both sides coming close but there was no further scoring in the first half. Middleton started the second half on the attack and two quick goals from Jake Charlton gave them some breathing space. Stockton then through caution to the wind and attacked the Middleton goal at frequent intervals and were rewarded with a goal. Cameron Brown in the Middleton goal made a fantastic late save and the final score was 3-1 to Middleton. Cole Young and James Green both had excellent games for Middleton but Man of the Match went to Tom Snowden.

The second game resulted in a 2-1 victory to Middleton with the goals coming from Ross Hamilton and Cole Young.

Middleton Rangers U11B were away to Grindon Boys and had a good start to the new year. First half started well with Rangers having most of the possession and having several attempts at scoring, chances came closer and closer but Grindon's keeper made some super saves, however half time came to a deadlock at 0-0. Some good defence from the back three Alexander Nelson, Alex Cox and Callum Bates stopped Grindon getting through then eventually well into the 2nd half a great pass to Nathan Stephenson who scored to finish the game 1-0. Excellent teamwork by everyone created a match well worth watching. Rangers would like to welcome on board new signing Dylan Gilhespie.

St Francis Juniors 0 Middleton Rangers U12s 4 Another strong performance saw Middleton Rangers Under 12s beat St Francis Juniors 4 – 0 away.

A battling display from centre halves George Musty and Matty Anderson made sure of a clean sheet against a gale force wind, while Danny Pippen hit home for Middleton making the score 1-0 at half time.

Rangers took the game to the home side in the second half and soon added another three from Joe Abbott, Bradley Bell and a 30 yard drive from man of the match Robin Hall while strong performances in the midfield from Luca Dunn and Jake Richardson kept any danger from the home side safely at arms length.

Middleton Rangers U10s sponsored by Brindle Construction played away at Wolviston and were on top for most of the first half but neither team could find away through in a game played in a very strong wind.The second half was played at a fast and furious pace and Wolviston were first to score when they cleared a Middleton corner and broke away and finished well.Middleton continued to press but excellent goalkeeping and sound defending kept Middleton at bay and the final score was 1-0. Man of the Match for Middleton was Rhys King who was one of a number of players who played well.

The second game ended 1-1 with Middleton taking the lead when Tom Snowden crossed excellently from the right for Jamie Nelson to score with fine header. Wolviston equalised in the second half in what was a entertaining match.

Middleton Rangers U9's v Heighington Boys Middleton sponsored by C.S. Automotive, went in front early on in the game from pass down from midfield for Lucas to score his first. James then provided Lucas with his second, just before half time Lucas got his hat trick.

Heighington came out in the second half and a couple of chances but failed to score. Some good marking by Heighington kept Rangers at bay, but a fine run by Leo King saw him bag the fourth goal, then this was capped by James to bag number five. Credit goes to Heighington for their determination throughout the game. Final Score 5.0 Rangers. MoM Charlie Walker.

In the second game Rangers ran out 2.0 winners with goals from Charlie Walker and Solomon French.
