ONE person was taken to hospital after being rescued from a blazing property by neighbours.
Fire broke out in a bungalow in Barmouth Road, in the Grangetown area of Middlesbrough shortly after 3pm today.
The end-of-terrace property was extensively damaged, with one room and the hall severely damaged by fire and the rest of the building damaged by smoke.
Three fire appliances were sent to the incident and one casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance after being rescued prior to the arrival of emergency crews.
No details were immediately available on the extent of the victim's injuries or the cause of the fire.
