A SPORTS club in north Durham has been recognised for its coaching talent and training facilities.
Belle Vue Leisure Centre, Consett has achieved the Clubmark accreditation from England Squash, gaining the silver level certificate.
It means the club has met high quality standards in playing or participation, duty of care, child protection, sports equity and ethics and club management.
Karen Wheatley, Belle Vue Leisure Centre manager, said: “We are thrilled to have received this award.
“Not only is it an accreditation to the facilities and centre itself but it is recognition for all the hard work and dedication our coaches have put in over the years and a massive achievement for our squash players.”
Belle Vue Leisure Centre holds regular squash coaching sessions and workshops for beginners through to advanced including junior and senior sessions.
