English pop punk emo band, You Me At Six from weighbridge in surrey recently released their debut album on 6th October 2008. There original base lines and fantastic lyrics, with true meanings, and adventurist story lines, the bands album was sure for a sell out through out many HMV and Zavi stores all around the UK.

Forming back in 2005, the boys were only just teenagers of 15 and 16 when they started to tour for the first time. Too young to even have a tour bus but using public transport to carry there gear and equipment, just to spread the word of there music. In 2007 the band were signed to Slam Dunk Records, an independent record label who produced the bands album. The album was released and reached 25 in the album charts and only a week after, the band were the main headline and front cover of rock magazine, Kerrang!, surprising the band members in how famous the actually are.

The album consists of 13 amazing tracks, each very different from each over and using 2 guitars, bass and selection of amazing drum beats. “Always attract”, using different harmonies and surprise guest voice of main singer Josh Franceschi and his amazing vocalist sister, Elissa. The recent single release, of “Jealous Minds think alike” hit the rock charts with a bang, viewed hundreds of times on Kerrang music channels. Releasing ‘Save it for the bedroom’ back in 2007, the songs beat and up going melodies soon set fans screaming and partying out to the tune all over the uk.

One thing for sure, the album is one of the best I have heard through out 2008 and 2009. So if you like upbeat songs and unusual storylines, Take of Your Colours is surely a album to buy!
