Thirsk Rotary Club has announced the return of the annual Santa Run.
This cherished tradition brings joy to the community while supporting local charities that make a significant impact throughout the year.
On each evening of the Santa Run, Santa will journey through the streets on his sleigh, accompanied by enthusiastic volunteers from supported charities.
These volunteers will be raising awareness for their causes and collecting donations in official collecting boxes.
Thirsk Rotary Club announces Santa Run schedule and routes (and the supported charities):
- Monday, 9th December: Sowerby - Supporting: Community Works
- Wednesday, 11th December: Hambleton (East Thirsk) - Supporting: Thirsk Youth Club
- Friday, 13th December: Sowerby Gateway 1 - Supporting: Vale of Mowbray Girl Guides
- Monday, 16th December: Sowerby Gateway 2 - Supporting: The Samaritans
- Wednesday, 18th December: Station Road & Carlton Miniott - Supporting: Carlton Miniott Playing Fields Association
- Friday, 20th December: Stockton Road & Norby - Supporting: 1st Thirsk Scouts
