Ellen DeGeneres’ new UK home in the Cotswolds near Jeremy Clarkson’s pub has flooded.
The US presenter, known for hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show from 2001 to 2022, recently bought a house in the area with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
Moving to England following Donald Trump’s presidential victory, Ms DeGeneres was recently spotted in former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson’s pub The Famer’s Dog.
The 66-year-old was seen in the week beginning Monday, November 18, enjoying her time in the Oxfordshire pub just off the Asthall Barrow Roundabout.
However, Storm Bert had a massive impact across Oxfordshire and throughout the Cotswolds last week with heavy flooding including where Ms DeGeneres lives.
According to national reports, the celebrity couple’s 43-acre property is right next to the River Thames which burst its banks during the storm.
One local resident told the Daily Mail: “The flood waters are rising by the hour.
“This is the worst I have seen it in years.”
The American TV host and her wife had previously been pictured with pop star James Blunt in Mr Clarkson’s pub.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, one friend reportedly said: "Ellen has fallen in love with the property in the Cotswolds. She has been on the lookout for a house in the area and often visits her celebrity pals.
"A Cotswolds house has become a status symbol in the celebrity world - and Ellen wanted to join the pack."
