Sedgefield's Mark Gatiss appeared on Sunday Brunch yesterday talking about his new BBC show.
He was joined by the likes of Rick Astley, Holly Johnston, Lauren Mayberry and even Middlesbrough's Phil Dunning who has just written and starred in the 'Smoggie Queens' on BBC3.
Mark discussed his latest project 'Woman of Stone' the new instalment in the 'A Ghost Story for Christmas' franchise that will air on BBC Two this Christmas.
Gatiss is known for his extensive work in television and theatre, including co-creating and starring in the popular BBC series 'Sherlock'.
His work has earned him numerous awards, including a BAFTA TV Award, a Primetime Emmy, a Peabody Award, and two Laurence Olivier Awards.

During his appearance, Gatiss gave viewers a glimpse into what to expect from Woman of Stone.
The ghostly tale continues the tradition of eerie festive stories that the franchise is known for and has become a staple of seasonal television for many viewers.
Fans in the North East will be pleased to see the County Durham native once again showcasing his talent on a national stage, adding to his already impressive legacy.
