A man has been charged following two-day armed police activity across Stockton.
Danny Ferguson is set to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday, November 30, charged with breach of a restraining order.
The 35-year-old, of Knitsley Walk in Stockton, was previously arrested at a property on Cornforth Road in Hardwick on Thursday and taken to police custody.
After being questioned by detectives, Ferguson has been charged with breach of a restraining order but has been released with no further action for possession of a firearm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Ferguson has been remanded in custody before his court appearance.
The charge follows armed police activity across Stockton between Tuesday and Thursday this week.

As previously reported, officers were spotted after reports of a man "driving a vehicle around the Stockton area while suspected of being armed with a firearm".
On Wednesday evening, armed police officers were pictured on Ketton Road and Cocken Road at around 7.30pm entering properties.
Later that evening, armed response officers were also spotted on Yarm Road, in Eaglescliffe.
