The opening date for a new luxury high street chocolate shop café in North Yorkshire has been revealed - here's when.
Hotel Chocolat's newest velvetiser café on the High Street in Northallerton will open on December 15, bosses have confirmed.
The café is set to be able to host up to 50 guests and will serve hot drinks including coffee and ice cream as well as 18 versions of their famed hot chocolate using their very own creation - the 'velvetiser'.
This will be one of only very few Hotel Chocolat stores or cafes in North Yorkshire - with the nearest to Northallerton locals currently being in Teesside and Harrogate.
Ahead of the opening, Hotel Chocolat’s, Omnichannel Director, Frankie Haynes, has said: "We’re thrilled to bring the Hotel Chocolat experience to Northallerton High Street.
"Our new Velvetiser Café is designed to offer a relaxing space where people can enjoy our signature drinks and treats at a leisurely pace.

"The Northallerton store marks another step in our expansion, and we’re excited to continue offering more of these delightful, out-of-town experiences across the country in the coming years."
Signs are currently in place at the unit promoting the new store - saying it will be "coming soon".
Currently, the chain also operates stores in Sunderland's Bridges Shopping Centre, Gateshead's Metrocentre and in Newcastle as well as over a dozen more across the country.
