Wootzano, the NETPark innovator in robotics and automation, is offering a unique stake in its future as one of a series of major milestones.
Following a successful expansion into the United States, the company now plans to amplify its international reach and bring its pioneering technology to markets across the globe - partly funded through a Crowdcube crowdfunding campaign.
It offers investors the chance to participate in the company’s growth journey and support a robotics pioneer at the forefront of agritech.
With the funds raised, Wootzano plans to accelerate its expansion into key global markets, introduce further advancements in its robotic technologies, and extend the reach of its Avarai robot into new regions.

Founded five years ago by CEO Dr Atif Syed, Wootzano has swiftly gained industry prominence and holds over 30 patents, including one for its revolutionary ‘embedded electronic skin’ technology.
The company specialises in developing advanced robotic systems for fresh produce handling. At the heart of Wootzano’s technology is Avarai, a robotic solution equipped with electronic skin and AI-powered vision systems that enable it to handle delicate produce with precision.
Wootzano marked a significant achievement in 2023 by entering the US market, beginning in California’s Central Valley, the nation’s largest grape-producing region, and building on a robust UK presence
Wootzano is also taking a big step in its global journey with a £30million deal in Malaysia. The partnership, made with Kuala Lumpur’s VCI Global, will bring the Avarai robot to the Malaysian agricultural market.
VCI Global, a Nasdaq-listed consultancy specializing in AI, robotics, and other emerging tech, is an ideal partner for Wootzano.
Atif Syed said: “This partnership with VCI is a powerful endorsement of Wootzano’s vision to bring high-tech robotics to the forefront of agriculture.
“We’re thrilled to play a role in Malaysia’s transition to advanced, tech-driven agriculture.
“Wootzano’s expansion into Malaysia, alongside our presence in Australia, Japan, the US, and Canada, marks a significant milestone in our mission to make Avarai accessible beyond high labour-cost regions.
“This latest breakthrough demonstrates that our technology is now viable and valuable in diverse markets, opening up tremendous potential across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia.
“We are excited about this development, as it showcases the adaptability and global impact of Avarai in revolutionising the fresh produce industry worldwide.”
