A new Christmas market is set to come to a County Durham town in December, promising 'unmissable' gifts and entertainment.
The free event in Spennymoor will take place on December 14, from midday to 6pm, and will feature market stalls, street food, and live music.
Visitors will be treated to unique gifts, handcrafted ornaments, and seasonal treats, all showcasing the creativity and talent of local businesses and charities.
Alongside the shopping, there will be live music performances by Spennymoor Youth Band and local carol singers, as well as roaming characters and stilt walkers.
A free snow globe experience and face painting will be available for families to enjoy, while dogs can also join in the festivities at the dedicated doggie treat stall.

"Whether you’re having mulled wine, grabbing some last-minute gifts, or making the most of the free activities and entertainment, it’s not to be missed."
Organisers have promised more free attractions, with one big announcement to be made soon.
Spennymoor Christmas Market is designed to nurture community spirit and showcase the best of the County Durham town, with a focus on celebrating and supporting local businesses and artisans.
The event has been made possible with support from Durham County Council, UK Government funding, and local group All Together for Spennymoor.
