An investigation has been launched after a forklift was stolen from a business on a County Durham industrial estate.
Officers were called to an unnamed construction firm at Aycliffe Business Park today (Monday, November 25) following a break-in.
A number of items are believed to have been stolen during the incident, with Durham Constabulary confirming one of those as a forklift truck.
Eyewitnesses reported that police were at the site from 8.15am this morning, although it is not known whether officers remain at the firm.
The force has confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
