A house which has caused major issues for residents in the North East has been closed by police after a court order was successfully granted.
The nuisance house, in Lemington, Newcastle, has been linked with "anti-social behaviour and criminal activity".
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated!

"That’s the message we are sending loud and clear after a closure order was granted on a nuisance property in Lemington.
"This follows concerns about anti-social behaviour and criminal activity linked to the premises.
"This is just one of the many ways, we are working with partners to keep our communities safe."
