The Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre has just opened a new steam room and a new sauna room.

They have released a sneak preview video of the rooms for people considering buying a membership.

Memberships to the gym are just £17 a month and they give you access to the gym, swimming pool, classes and the new rooms.

A Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre spokesperson said: "We are open!

"Our gym changing rooms, steam room and sauna room are now open!

"We are so excited and can't wait for everyone to come and enjoy these great facilities.

"With memberships starting from just £17 a month giving you access to the gym, swimming pool, exercise classes as well as the sauna and steam room, now is the perfect time to join and improve your physical and mental wellbeing!

"To ensure everyone using the sauna and steam room is safe we ask all members who intend to use these facilities to sign the Sauna and Steam room usage policy form.

"Please also bring a towel to use in the sauna and steam area."
