A man has been arrested after a suspect 'drove at' a farm shop worker in Richmond.
The incident took place at the Mainsgill Farm Shop yesterday afternoon (November 23).
One of the shopworkers tried to stop the suspected shoplifter from leaving the premises but the driver of the Vauxhall Corsa did not stop.

A video of the incident has been circulating on social media.
A man has now been charged with six offences and he has been kept in custody.

A police spokesperson said: "Yesterday afternoon police received a report of a shop theft and dangerous driving at Mainsgill Farm Shop, Richmond.

"Police have since located a male suspect who has been arrested, charged and remanded for a total of 6 offences, where he currently remains in police custody.
"A vehicle was also seized in relation to the offences.
"As a result he will be spending the rest of the weekend with us, before his appearance in court."
