Due to a fault with the signalling system between Darlington and Northallerton a number of train services have been cancelled or revised.
Road Transport has been requested to take people from Darlington and York but that service will not be available until 10am.
The following Transpennine Express services have been cancelled or revised:
09:19 York to Newcastle due 10:19 has been cancelled
09:37 Darlington to Manchester Airport due 12:13 will be started from York
09:39 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street due 13:02 will be terminated at Darlington
10:07 York to Newcastle due 11:13 will be started from Darlington
You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:
LNER between York and Newcastle in both directions
Cross Country between Leeds and Newcastle in both directions

Road Transport has also been requested to operate between Darlington and York, however due to road conditions they will not be in service until approximately 10:00am.
Customers at Chester-le-Street will be provided with road transport to Newcastle.
Customers travelling to Chester-Le-Street should speak to station staff at Durham for onward transport.
