An urgent search has been launched for a man last seen behind a Premier Inn hotel wearing a fishing suit.
Forty-five-year-old Michael Preston from Hartlepool has not been seen since 7pm on Thursday (November 21) when he was behind the chain hotel’s branch on Marina Way in his hometown.
He was wearing a fishing suit, black head scarf and a headlamp, and is believed to have been travelling on a black bike.
Police searching for them say they are concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone who sees him to contact them on 101.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Officers are urgently appealing for help to trace missing 45-year-old Michael Preston from Hartlepool.
“We are concerned for Michael’s welfare and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 222810.”
