A festive ice rink has opened at a North East shopping centre offering skating sessions into the new year.
'Skate Metrocentre' is located in the shopping centre's Yellow Mall car park and features a fully covered real ice rink.
Open from November 15, 2024, to January 5, 2025, it will allow visitors to skate regardless of the unpredictable North East weather.
Denisa Cook, operations director at Ice Leisure Group, said: "Metrocentre is the perfect place to ice-skate on real ice this winter with your friends and family.
"You can really have a full day out at Metrocentre.
"It's highly recommended to pre-book your tickets as we anticipate many sessions will sell out in advance."
The rink will be open five days a week from November 15 to November 30 (Wednesday to Sunday), then open seven days a week throughout December and early January.
