Darlington detectives are investigating after three people were reportedly attacked on High Northgate.
The incident happened at around 10:20pm on Monday evening (November 18) and two people sustained injuries.
The police believe the incident may have been domestic-related and are hoping to speak to any witnesses about what happened.
A Darlington Police spokesperson said: "Three people were reported to have been attacked near the BP garage at around 10.20pm, with two people sustaining injuries.
"Officers believe the incident to be domestic-related and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

"They are also keen to speak to any drivers with dashcams who were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who has CCTV footage.
