A man has been arrested in Horden this morning on suspicion of growing cannabis.
A raid was carried out on a property on Blackhills Road and a 29-year-old was arrested at the scene.
He has since been taken into police custody.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Officers carried out a drugs warrant at a property on Blackhills Road, in Horden, this morning.
"A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and taken into police custody."
