Crime scene investigators were called to a derelict Bishop Auckland pub after a break-in.
Officers were spotted outside the former Queen's Head Hotel, off North Bondgate, on Tuesday (November 19) morning following an incident.
A picture taken from the scene showed one Durham Constabulary crime scene investigation van, which was parked outside the entrance to the former car park.
The image was taken at about 11.30am - and it is not known how long police were at the scene.

The pub has been closed for several years, and currently remains boarded up, with the image showing the windows of the watering hole covered by wooden boards.
The force has today (November 20) confirmed that officers were called to reports of a break-in at the property at about 10.15am.
An investigation is now ongoing, a spokesperson confirmed.
