County Durham parks are set to host a slate of Christmas activities and events across the festive period.
Durham County Council announced events taking place at two of its parks in the run-up to Christmas.
Wharton Park will be the site for creative festive activities on November 23, from 10am to midday.
Children aged six and above will be able to make eco-friendly Christmas crafts, including bags, cushions, or hats, from recycled materials.
The ticket price is £12 per child and includes all necessary materials.
On November 30, Wharton Park will also host a "Christmas Story Explorers - Stickman" event, suitable for children aged eight and under.
Here, children will listen to a story in the education room, craft a Stickman, and complete a Stickman trail around the park.
This event will also run from 10am to midday and costs £8.50 per child.
