A popular Yarm nightclub has promised to get “revellers returning to the dancefloor” as it confirms a string of events this Christmas.
Earlier this year, The Keys, on Yarm High Street, announced it would only be opening for “special events" going forward, refocusing on its Cabana Cocktail Lounge.
But just last month, bosses confirmed that the nightclub would reopen every weekend over the festive period - with the likes of JLS member and I’m a Celebrity star Marvin Humes and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp on the billing.
Now, details have been confirmed for its full festive schedule.
The news comes at a tough time for the night time economy across the country, with recent research from the Night Time Industries Association (NITA) showing that nightclubs have been closing at an alarming rate of 10 per month on average.
As things stand, if this current rate of closures continues, it would mean there would be no more clubs in the UK by December 31, 2029.
But The Keys said it is “determined” for this not to happen - and is currently “working hard on putting together a party schedule to get revellers returning to the dancefloor in 2025”.
They include brunches and day parties, for those who no longer wish to stay out late, as well as some “exciting new nights in store for those that do”.
Events on the festive schedule include Marvin Humes on November 30, who will be returning to the club following a sell-out performance earlier this year, followed by DJ Fat Tony on December 7, making his club debut.
Friday, December 27 will see the return of Martin Kemp and his ‘Back to the 80s’ show.
There are also a number of stage-shows taking place at the club starting with the Abba Fabulous show on Friday, November 29, followed by Princes of Motown on Friday, December 6, and Luvbug 70s Disco Show on Sunday, December 29.
The Magic Mike Bottomless brunch will also return on Saturday, December 14, which has almost sold out.
Tickets for this and all other special events are available on Fatsoma and readers can receive a discount by entering the code XMAS24.

Resident DJs Mark Thornton, DJ Nige, Hendo, and Mitchell Brady will be on hand to soundtrack the rest of the festive period.
As previously reported, The Keys announced in July that it was set to undertake a partial refurb to expand the recently launched Cabana Cocktail Lounge, with the main section of the nightclub confirmed to now only be open for “special events”.
The refurbishment of the smaller bar - located upstairs at the front of the building - meant the venue could allow more visitors to experience the “little piece of paradise".
