A Crufts-winning dog breeder will be sentenced in court at the start of 2025 after she was found guilty of three offences relating to running an animal business without a licence.
Linda Susan Moran, 63, appeared at York Magistrates' Court on Friday (November 15) following her conviction on multiple charges under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
Moran was found guilty on March 6, 2024, of operating animal-related businesses without the required licenses in North Yorkshire.
The charges related to incidents in April 2023 at A1 Boarding Kennels and Cattery, Thorpe House, Gatherley Road, Brompton on Swale.
On April 4, 2023, Moran was found to have sold a Lhasa Apso puppy without a license.

Between April 4 and April 10, 2023, she engaged in unlicensed dog breeding and advertised her business.
On April 14, 2023, she was found to have provided unlicensed boarding services for dogs.
Moran has been remanded on unconditional bail until January 24, 2025, when she will return to York Magistrates' Court for sentencing.
