A house was left with extensive damage after a car rammed into it.
Police believe a gold-coloured 4x4 was used and driven off from the scene on Church Lane in Middlesbrough towards the A19.
It is thought the car was also left with significant damage.
It happened on Monday (November 18) afternoon at about 2.05pm.
Luckily no one was injured in the incident, officers said.
The circumstances of the crash are not yet known.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Detectives are appealing after a vehicle was driven into a house on Church Lane, Middlesbrough, causing significant damage.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101, reference number 218779.”
