A reality TV star and social media influencer has been spotted enjoying a luxury stay in a top North Yorkshire hotel, as she posted about her visit on her social media account.

Molly Mae-Hague, who rose to prominence on the fifth season of reality TV show Love Island, was seen in the grounds of Grantley Hall, near Ripon, over the weekend.

The social media influencer, who has her own makeup brand and clothing deals, was engaged to professional boxer Tommy Fury until their split earlier this year.

Grantley Hall is seen as one of the top hotel and wedding venues in North Yorkshire, boasting award-winning restaurants, cocktail bars, and spa facilities, while also featuring stunning grounds and landscapes and a hint of luxury.

In recent times it has been the site of several celebrity stays, which included Leeds United football Patrick Bamford having his wedding at the venue, while it was reported that Ryan Reynolds recently stayed at the hotel.

During Molly Mae's visit to Grantley Hall, she posted several photos of herself outside the doors of the venue on Instagram.

This hotel stay comes after she said her split from her former fiancé Tommy Fury came as “a bit of a shock” as she had planned to marry him next September.

The pair, who met on the hit ITV dating show Love Island, announced they had split in separate social media messages in August, prompting speculation about the reasons for their separation.

The reality TV star and influencer, 25, said: “It was a bit of a shock, the circumstances… I didn’t want what happened to happen.”

She added that she wanted to get married to Tommy “100%” and that “would never have changed”.

Hague and Fury, who were the runners-up on Love Island season five in 2019, got engaged in July 2023.

The pair welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023.

She said in the immediate aftermath of the break-up, there was a point where she thought “I don’t really know how I’m going to get through this”.

Discussing their wedding plans, she revealed: “I wanted to get married next September and it’s very hard when it’s kind of taken away.

“But I will always have a lot of love and respect for him.”
