Police have released an image of two suspects after a person was assaulted "with a weapon" at a Bishop Auckland shop over the weekend.
Officers were called to the Premier Store on Cockton Hill at 3.20pm where it is reported a victim was approached and "assaulted with a weapon".
They were then followed inside the shop and continued to be assaulted.
However, suspects then fled onto Bell Street.

One man and two boys were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder but were later released on bail.
Police added: "Bishop Auckland CID are now keen to speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV.
"Anyone who recognises them or anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the team on 101 quoting reference 230 of November 17."
