Four people including a 17-year-old boy have been charged with assault after a stabbing yesterday.
Police and crime scene investigators have been in attendance on William Street and the surrounding area in Stockton yesterday (November 16) following an incident, now confirmed to have been a stabbing just before 1am.
Five men were initially arrested and it has now been confirmed that four of those, including two teenagers, have been charged with assault.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, has now been discharged from hospital.
William Street was cordoned off by police who remained at the scene, including on the surrounding streets of West Row and Yarm Lane.
An investigation then took place and pictures showed police searching bins, drains and more.
A full Cleveland Police statement reads: "Three men, aged 19, 21 and 30, and one teenager aged 17, have been charged with Section 18 Assault following the incident on Yarm Lane, Stockton.
"One other man, aged 18, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 16 November 2024.
