A man has been arrested after a roundabout crash totalled a van in County Durham last night.
Police were called to Bournmoor last night (November 16) - to a roundabout on the A1052 following a crash involving a van.
Pictures show the crash left the front end of the van unrecognisable as well as signage on the roundabout itself badly damaged.
Specialist equipment was brought in to lift the car away - and police have confirmed that the roundabout will be subject to repairs.
One man was arrested.

A police statement reads: "Officers from the Chester le Street response and neighbourhood teams attended a road traffic collision earlier this evening, at a roundabout on A1052 at Bournmoor.
"One male has been arrested and is currently in custody."
