Police have tonight (Sat Nov 15) confirmed a man for whom concern had been raised has been found and is "safe'"
An appeal was earlier made for sightings of Shaun Cruddas, who was said to have last been seen in the Elswick area of Newcastle, at about 4.30pm on Friday (November 15).
The 45-year-old has not been heard from since, at the time the appeal was made, and his family and police were said to be growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
