A person has been taken to hospital following a crash in County Durham that prompted a large emergency service response.
Police and the ambulance service were present on Durham Lane near Sherburn last night (November 15) following a crash that saw a car "leave the road".
A man involved in the crash was taken to hospital by paramedics.
A Durham Constabulary spokesperson said: "Police were called at 8.10pm yesterday (November 15) to a one-vehicle collision in which a car left the road on Durham Lane, near Sherburn.
"Paramedics also attended and transported a man to hospital."

A NEAS spokesperson said, "We received a call at 20:12 on Friday evening to reports of a person injured in a road traffic incident at the junction of B1283 and A181 in West Sherburn.
"We sent a duty officer, doctor, emergency ambulance crew, rapid response paramedic and a Hazardous Area Response Team and transported a patient to the RVI in Newcastle."
