Cleveland Police have confirmed that a man has died after a crash on the A174 in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 PM on Friday, November 15.
The A174 westbound carriageway between the Greystones Roundabout and Ormesby Bank is still closed as officers continue their investigations into the circumstances of the collision.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this extremely difficult time."

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the inquiry to come forward.
In particular, police are keen to hear from drivers who may have captured dashcam footage of the collision or of a black BMW X5 in the area at the time.
Anyone with relevant information or footage is urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference 218779.
