Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on Abbey Road in Darlington this evening.
The crash happened around 6:30pm (Friday 15) on the junction of Neville Road coming onto Abbey Road.
Police, Ambulance and Fire were on the scene and the road was closed while they dealt with the incident.
Two patients were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital, the North East Ambulance Service has confirmed.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision today (15 November) at 16:27 on Abbey Road in Darlington.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews and one clinical team leader and two patients were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital."
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 4.30pm to a two-vehicle collision on Abbey Road, in Darlington.
"Paramedics also attended and transported two people to hospital."
