It is set to be a misty morning turning into a chilly day in Darlington and across the North East today as the Met Office predicts low temperatures set to feel close to freezing.

The town is set for yet another cloudy and overcast day today (November 15) coupled with chilly temperatures as December fast approaches.

Today, temperatures will reach a high of just 11C - but are set to 'feel like' a low of 9C by evening with the sun due to set at 4:04pm.

The forecaster predicts: “Mist and fog at first with some brighter spells in the east. Cloud thickens from the northwest bringing patchy drizzle over the Pennines, staying largely dry in the east. 

“Becoming breezy over hills. Maximum temperature 12 °C.”
