A BELOVED Christmas tradition will light up a North East town this year as Darlington Round Table announces the dates Santa’s Sleigh will tour the area.

Justin Hayward, chairman of Darlington Round Table, said: “Santa’s Sleigh has been a cherished part of Darlington’s festive season for nearly 50 years. We’re thrilled to bring a little Christmas magic to families all across the area once again.”

Mark your calendars for these festive dates:

  • Sunday, December 8 – Middleton St George
  • Monday, December 9 – Red Hall, Lingfield, and Firthmoor
  • Tuesday, December 10 – Branksome, West Park, and High Grange
  • Wednesday, December 11 – Mowden and Hummersknott
  • Thursday, December 12 – Brinkburn and The Denes
  • Sunday, December 15 – Hurworth-on-Tees
  • Monday, December 16 – Harrowgate Hill and North Road
  • Tuesday, December 17 – Conniscliffe Road and Elton Road
  • Wednesday, December 18 – Whinfield and Springfield
  • Thursday, December 19 – Skerne Park
  • Saturday, December 21 – High Row, Darlington Town Centre

Each evening, residents can track Santa’s route across town by visiting www.santasatnav.com.

Santa and his sleigh will also appear at the Darlington Christmas Lights Switch-On on Sunday, November 17.
