A cyclist was left with a broken hand and broken teeth after a suspected 'hit and run' incident that saw a bike and car collide.
The incident is said to have happened on the A139 over bridge towards Billingham at about 10pm on Friday night (November 8) - with police now appealing for information on the incident.
During the crash, the cyclist sustained numerous injuries when he fell to the ground after the unidentified vehicle collided with the rear of his bike.

The driver didn’t stop to check the rider’s wellbeing and then drove from the scene.
The 53-year-old cyclist received hospital treatment for broken bones in his hand and wrist, and he suffered broken teeth.
Anyone who was in the area or drivers who may have captured the incident on their dashcam are urged to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 214630.
