A series of banning orders have been handed out to a group of youngsters in Darlington following anti-social behaviour incidents at local retail businesses over the weekend.
Officers responded to disturbances at KFC and McDonald's on North Road, where three individuals were identified and issued banning notices.
The offenders have also been referred to Darlington Borough Council’s ASB team for further action.
In a separate incident, police were called to Starbucks on Faverdale, where staff were verbally abused and a group of youths refused to leave.
The individuals were also banned from the premises and referred to the ASB team.

Additionally, a driver was stopped by police on Friday and found to be operating a vehicle without a license. The driver was dealt with at the roadside.
Police are committed to cracking down on anti-social behaviour and ensuring a safe environment in Darlington's retail areas.
Officers will continue to monitor those involved.
